Isn't he the plastic doll in the nativity?
Jesus was born at around Christmas time in a stable in Bethlehem. He was born to Mary, who was impregnated by God. All the other stuff about sheperds and wise men also happened, which is why they are all part of the nativity story. Other than being born from a woman, Jesus was not your every day man. What ordinary person could make the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the mute talk and bring the dead back to life? These things all prove that Jesus was and is and will always be the Son of God.

The life and Times of a Carpenter
Jesus was seen to be Joseph's son, so everybody expected him to follow in his father's footsteps and join in the family business of carpentry, like any normal boy. But from a young age, Jesus was obviously not an ordinary boy...

'Every year Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem for the Passover Feast. When he was twelve years old, they went to the feast as they always did. After the feast days were over, they started home. The boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but his parents did not know it. Thinking that Jesus was with them in the group, they travelled for a whole day. Then they began to look for him among their family and friends.
When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him there. After three days they found Jesus sitting in the Temple with the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and answers. When Jesus' parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him,
"Son, why did you do this to us? Your father and I were very worried about you and have been looking for you." Jesus said to them,
"Why were you looking for me? Didn't you know that I must be in my Father's house?"

The Temptation of Jesus

'Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. The Spirit led Jesus into the desert where the devil tempted Jesus for 40 days. Jesus ate nothing during that time, and when those days were ended, He was very hungry.

The devil said to Jesus,
"If you are the Son of God, tell this rock to become bread." Jesus answered,
"It is written in the scriptures: 'A person does not live by eating only bread.* ' "

Then the devil took Jesus and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in an instant. The devil said to Jesus,
"I will give you all these kingdoms and all their power and glory. It has all been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish. If you worship me, then it will all be yours." Jesus answered,
"It is written in the Scriptures: 'You must worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.** ' "

Then the devil led Jesus to Jerusalem and put Him on a high place of the temple. He said to Jesus,
"If you are the Son of God, jump down. It is written in the Scriptures: 'He has put His angels in charge of you to watch over you.*** ' It is also written: 'They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.**** ' "
Jesus answered,
"But it also says in the Scriptures: 'Do not test the Lord your God.***** ' "

After the devil had tempted Jesus in every way, he left Him to wait until a better time.

Re:Jesus

There is historical evidence on the existence of Jesus. The only question people hvae a problem with, is whether or not He was the Son of God.
